Software Engineer - web applications (Tampa, FL)

Westbrook Granite Community Partners runs community programmes across Tampa. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
