Software Engineer - web applications (St. Louis, MO)

Northwind Quarry Health provides primary and specialty care in St. Louis. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about referrals into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
