Software Engineer - web applications (Spokane, WA)

Greenridge Willow Community Partners is a nonprofit in Spokane supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
