Software Engineer - web applications (Savannah, GA)

Westbrook Wren Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Savannah focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about customer tickets into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
