Software Engineer - web applications (Savannah, GA)

Rivermark Basin Facilities Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
