Software Engineer - web applications (San Diego, CA)

Bluepeak Corner Pharma develops and makes medicines in San Diego, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about batch records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with batch records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
