Software Engineer - web applications (San Antonio, TX)

Redstone Willow Medical designs and makes medical devices in San Antonio, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
