Software Engineer - web applications (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about survey data into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
