Software Engineer - web applications (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge Quarry Legal Group is a Richmond practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
