Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Highbridge Ivory Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Minneapolis region, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about usage data into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
