Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Greenridge Summit Medical is a Knoxville company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
