Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Amberfield Timber Medical Partners designs and makes medical devices in Providence. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
