Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Clearpath Quill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Little Rock design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 429 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
