Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Wren Care Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
