Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Clearpath Oak Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Phoenix, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
