Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Rivermark Summit Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
