Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Ironwood Cobalt Early Learning runs childcare centres in Milwaukee caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
