Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Vale Financial and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Turn requests about account servicing into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
