Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Willow Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 978 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
