Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Highbridge Vale Pharma develops and makes medicines in Tampa. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about release testing into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with release testing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
