Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Greenridge Amber Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 54 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
