Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Redstone Ridge Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about attendance records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
