Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Lakeside Care Services supports families and individuals in Albuquerque with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
