Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Ivory Care Services supports families and individuals in Providence with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about visit scheduling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
