Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Amber Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Charleston. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
