Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Silverline Vale Pharma is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for batch records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about batch records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with batch records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
