Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Redstone Oak Facilities looks after properties across the San Jose region. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
