Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Ironwood Willow Pharma Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for cleanroom operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about cleanroom operations into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
