Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Timber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Charleston, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
