Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Summit Early Learning Partners is an early-learning provider in Rochester. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about meal programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
