Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Oak Health Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
