Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Stonegate Ember Financial is a financial-services company in Atlanta, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 621 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about payment disputes into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
