Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Summit Medical and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about production lots into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
