Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Amber Pharma and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 425 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about release testing into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oklahoma City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
