Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Nova Cross Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
