Software Engineer - web applications (Portland, OR)

Clearpath Ashton Health Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 544 people based in Portland. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
