Software Engineer - web applications (Pittsburgh, PA)

Amberfield West Legal Group is a law firm in Pittsburgh serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about trust accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with trust accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
