Software Engineer - web applications (Omaha, NE)

Bluepeak Ivory Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
