Software Engineer - web applications (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Glen Facilities and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 514 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
