Software Engineer - web applications (Omaha, NE)

Summit Keystone Facilities is a facilities company in Omaha with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 827 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
