Software Engineer - web applications (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Corner Medical Partners is a Oakland company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
