Software Engineer - web applications (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Clearpath North Insurance Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about catastrophe response into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
