Software Engineer - web applications (Minneapolis, MN)

Northwind Ashton Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Minneapolis area. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
