Software Engineer - web applications (Minneapolis, MN)

Nova Willow Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Minneapolis. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
