Software Engineer - web applications (Milwaukee, WI)

Amberfield Pine Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
