Software Engineer - web applications (Miami, FL)

Foxglove Cedar Health provides primary and specialty care in Miami, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
