Software Engineer - web applications (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Linden Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
