Software Engineer - web applications (Louisville, KY)

Cedar Forge Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Louisville. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
