Software Engineer - web applications (Little Rock, AR)

Silverline Kestrel Insurance Group is an insurance company in Little Rock with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
