Software Engineer - web applications (Las Vegas, NV)

Highbridge Ivory Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Las Vegas. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
